The survey, conducted by the University of Illinois, shows that exposure to the byproducts of chemical disinfection premature aging, birth defects, asthma and may cause bladder cancer. The results suggest that swimming pools are best disinfected with a combination of ultraviolet (UV) and chlorine, rather than the traditional method where only chlorine is used.

Hanovia, through its distributor in the Benelux, Eurfor Inter, a safer and non-chemical method to pool its UV disinfection systems. Water that is recirculated in the pool is exposed to UV light of a specific spectrum, which is absorbed by the DNA of microorganisms. Hanovia systems control the intensity of the UV lamp and regulate them at the appropriate energy level, automatic wipers while the quartz tube around the UV lamp to keep clean. Dan kunt u kiezen voor exemplaren van een wat dunnere stof. Het zicht naar binnen zal nog steeds beperkt blijven en de warmte kan beter doorstromen het huis in. De keuze in gordijnstoffen bij dit type raambekleding is zeer uitgebreid. U kunt kiezen voor effen exemplaren of met een dessin. Hebt u een kleine kamer, houd de stof dan zo rustig mogelijk. Dessins doen de kamer namelijk alleen maar kleiner lijken. Ook in de materialen is er een hoop te kiezen. Zo kunnen de stoffen bestaan uit natuurlijke materialen als linnen en katoen, maar ook dikke gordijnen van velours zijn favoriet. Of wat te denken van satijn voor een luxe uitstraling? Door het overgordijn te voorzien van een extra tweede laag stof aan de achterkant maakt u het gordijn wat dikker. Dus ziet u een mooie stof, maar voldoet die niet helemaal aan uw wensen, bijvoorbeeld omdat het net iets te dun is en niet voldoende licht tegen houdt in de slaapkamer? Dan is een extra laag stof een goed idee. Kiest u voor een contrasterende stof, dan kan dit tevens een leuk visueel effect opleveren.
